SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON SINGS DOWN AND OUT BLUES 1959 CHECKER LP 1437 MONO 1ST PRESS
Very early issue of Sonny Boy Williamson Sings Down and Out Blues, released on the black Checker Records label with the catalog number LP 1437 Mono in 1959. 1st print cardboard cover with the "2120 So. Michigan Ave" address on the back cover. The copy is in great condition and coming from a private collection. The cover is in Excellent condition with some occasional light scuffing on the edges. The vinyl is in Near Mint Minus condition with a few light marks and scuffs. The "Sheldon" stamp on both sides in the dead wax guarantees this record being a 1st pressing. The labels don't have any wear, only some light spindle marks, which are only visible under a certain angle.
