Incredibly rare pre-release true 1st pressing of Led Zeppelin III, only Monaural mix DJ exclusive radio station by Atlantic Records “Not To The General Public” special promotion only for airplay copy. Atlantic Records sent this promotional copy exclusively to radio stations. Only few of these promo copies were true Monaural mix pressings, which are becoming impossible to find. The Mono version of this album was never commercially released in any way or form. The record was pressed on a thick heavy duty inflexible vinyl, which was used for the 1st or very early pressings. The sound on such a thick vinyl pressing is dynamic, vivid, and even dramatic. Any digital copy is incomparable to the incredible analogue sound of this pressing. Original die-cut "gimmick" (moving parts) cardboard gatefold cover with a rotating wheel in the front flap. The front cover has a neon orange "Promotional D/J Copy Monaural Not For Sale" round sticker affixed to the top left corner of the front cover along with a super rare original promotional black large song title hype sticker affixed to the top right corner. Te cover also contains an Atlantic Records large "A" with fan logo and SD 7201 catalog number at the bottom right corner. Original Atlantic Records 1841 Broadway New York, N.Y. address white "Sample Copy Not For Sale" labels without the "SD" prefix before 7201 catalog number and "Stereo" banner, include an A-13469 PR suffix indicating that this promotional copy was pressed at the Presswell Records Pressing Plant, Ancora, New Jersey. Thick heavy weight inflexible vinyl pressing with the very early 1st matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax) SIDE ONE: A-13469-C AT W DK SIDE TWO: A-13470-C AT W DK. This promotional DJ Sample copy includes an original 1st pressing Atlantic Records printed color paper inner sleeve with adverts for 54 Atlantic Records release (which was changed to another inner sleeve with 16 adverts on all of the subsequent pressing). The gatefold cover is very clean and doesn’t have any signs of wear. Usually, these covers are found with a pretty sever ring wear on both sides, but not this copy, which doesn’t have any ring wear on the front cover and only some very lights hints of ring wear at the bottom and left of the back cover. The black borders have a minimal amount of scuffing. The spine, which doesn’t have any wear, contains a fully readable text. The gatefold interior has been very well preserved, without any scuffs or wear. The cover doesn’t have any writing or splits and is in great condition. I grade the vinyl as Very Good, because it contains some light hairlines, marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve, none of which can be felt with a finger nail. The white labels are very clean and have only a minimum amount of very light spindle marks. The original Atlantic Records inner sleeve is in great shape, only having some very light creases at the top left corner.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other.
