Description
JOHN MAYALL - 'U.S.A. UNION'
1970 UK 1st PRESSING LP
My listings a this week include an extensive collection of albums by the 'Godfather of the British Blues' scene - John Mayall.
His musical career spans fifty years and he has just released his 57th album. However, most notable period of his work ocurred during the late '60s, which is where most of this collection dates from.
He was the founder of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and has been influential in the careers of many instrumentalists, including: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Peter Green, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Mick Taylor, Don "Sugarcane" Harris, Harvey Mandel, Larry Taylor, Aynsley Dunbar, Hughie Flint, Jon Hiseman, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Andy Fraser, Johnny Almond, Jon Mark, Walter Trout, Coco Montoya, and Buddy Whittington. & his Bluesbreakers.
All discs in this collection have been put together by a single collector over many years and represent a rare opportunity to acquire most of his greatest LPs, all in outstanding condition.
This hard to find 1970 release featuring U.S. musicians; Don Harris, Larry Taylor & Harvey Mandel is on the classic red Polydor label: 2425-020
It is housed within an unlaminated 'E. J. Day Group' printed gatefold cover
This disc also comes with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: NEAR MINT
A beautiful, unworn pair with just two tiny spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate, 'as new' deep-gloss surfaces which are totally unmarked in strong daylight and displays just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
Played just once or twice, this copy sounds 'as new' from start to finish with no traces of any audible wear whatsoever.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A very clean & strong example of this easily worn cover with unmarked front & rear panel and an untouched inner gatefold. The only trace of wear is some minor shelfwear rubbing to the lower edges but all are fully intact and the spine is perfectly square, undamaged & fully worded.
